Prize Presented to 2019 Dental Skills Winner

It’s been an exciting week for the winner of the 2018/2019 RCSEd Dentsply Sirona Dental Skills Competition, David Cobbett, who caught up with RCSEd Dean of Faculty of Dental Surgery Fraser McDonald and Tom Bereznicki, Board Member of the Faculty of Dental Trainers to be presented with the Digital SLR camera designed for intraoral photography as part of his prize. The camera was generously donated by Dr Bereznicki to support the next generation in their dental ambitions. The Dean, Professor Fraser Macdonald commented
“We have been extremely fortunate to have such support for our Dental Skills Competition. I would like to pay tribute to Tom for his foresight and generosity in providing practical help for the next generation. I extend my sincere congratulations to David and look forward to hearing more about his career in the future.”
David Cobbett will also receive an all-expenses paid trip to attend the Chicago Dental Society Conference this year as part of his Grand Final prize. The Faculty is extremely grateful for the generous support of Dr Bereznicki for making this possible.
