Survey for Surgical Trainees, Associate Specialists and Consultants practising in the UK

The surgical landscape is changing and in recent years there has been an expansion of non-medical workforce within surgery. The College's Faculty of Perioperative Care has launched a study that aims to examine who is providing surgical assistance within the UK; and whether they are suitably available and trained to support the operating surgeon.

In addition, it will examine whether this is dependent on geography, specialty or hospital type across the UK with a view to making recommendations for future workforce planning.

We encourage Surgical Trainees, Associate Specialists and Consultants practising in the UK to take this survey.

> Take the survey here.

The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Deadline for completion of the survey: 28 February 2018.
