Low Rectal Cancer – Radical Surgery or Organ Preservation

Book now - 1-2 September 2014

Organised by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in collaboration with The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland, this meeting will provide an update on current thinking about the treatment of low rectal cancer and in particular will explore the role of organ preservation in early disease.

It will be delivered by a series of lectures with interactive debate. The meeting aims to cover the management of pre-malignant rectal disease, methods of assessment of rectal cancer, the principles of radical treatment for rectal cancer, and the principles of organ preservation in rectal cancer - exploring the main controversies. It is aimed at senior trainees and consultants in colorectal surgery, oncology and pathology.
