25 Sep 2013

The General Medical Council (GMC) is encouraging doctors who work outside the NHS to get in touch with them and provide them with information to support their revalidation.

Doctors who have not yet provided the GMC with this information, will receive formal notice this week informing them that their licence to practise is now at risk. Recipients will be given 28 days to respond to this request for information. Failure to provide this information to the GMC will result in steps being taken to remove your licence to practise in the UK.

For further information visit www.gmc-uk.org or contact 0161 923 6200.
