This conference will take place at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) on 8 November 2013. Organised by RCSEd, jointly with the 205 (Scottish) Field Hospital and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, this programme will be of interest to doctors of all grades and specialties that have a role in trauma care.

This meeting will provide a forum to discuss current research in injury of conflict, with the intent to glean what lessons have been learnt in conflict overseas and to explore what knowledge can be used to benefit patients treated at home in the NHS.

The topics discussed will demonstrate current areas of research being carried out in the military with the aim of improving outcomes for injured personnel.
