The Medical Women's Federation will be holding their Autumn Conference in London on Friday 8 November 2013.

 

Entitled 'Patients' and Doctors' Safety: Can Women Change the Culture of the NHS?', this conference will provide the opportunity to get involved in discussion on patient safety and doctor protection issues from various speakers.

  • Dame Fiona Caldicott, Chair of National Information Governance Board
  • The Dame Rosemary Rue Lecture: Prof Bhupinder Sandhu OBE, Professor of Paediatric Gastroenterology
  • Prof Vivienne Nathanson, Director of Professional Activities, British Medical Association
  • Dr Vicky Osgood, Assistant Director of Postgraduate Education, General Medical Council

Abstract Submissions

Abstracts are invited for presentation or as a poster on any subject related to either to the theme of the conference, the health of women & their families, or to women doctors' careers; Deadline for abstract submission is Friday 4 October 2013.
