The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the University of Edinburgh are inviting candidates who wish to sit their exit professional examinations in General Surgery to attend a three-day revision FRCS course at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh next February 2013.

Taking place on the 8th (17:00-19:30), 9th (9:00-13:00) and 10th (9:00-12:30) February 2013, this three-day course will concentrate on section two of the FRCS examination and will consist of carefully designed and structured interviews. This course is organised by Professor of Transplantation Surgery and Honorary Consultant Surgeon, Prof Steve Wigmore and an experienced team previously involved in the highly successful Hadrian FRCS preparation course.

At the end of the course, participants will have developed techniques to improve their exam performance by better demonstrating their knowledge and understanding.

The cost of sitting the course is £300, including refreshments. Fees are waived for current ChM in General Surgery students.

There are 30 places for the course that will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
