The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is pleased to announce that it has been accepted as an Approved Learning Provider in the Ministry of Defence's Enhanced Learning Credit (ELC) Scheme for its Remote and Offshore Medicine postgraduate programme.

The Remote and Offshore medicine postgraduate programme is an eLearning, part-time programme which provides an opportunity for practising remote health professionals to gain a postgraduate qualification in this emerging field.

This new ELC accreditation means that service men and women will be able to apply for funding towards the cost of the programme at either Certificate or Diploma level.  The DipROM Programme is also accredited by the ACRRM (Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine).

Applications for the next intake, in March 2013, will close on 24 February 2013. To apply for a place click here or to read more about this programme please click here
