RCSEd Honours Leading Pakistani Surgeon

Prof Shah

The RCSEd recognised the achievements of a surgeon from the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in Karachi at a diploma ceremony on Friday 29 June 2012.

Professor Syed Sagheer Hussain Shah was awarded the Fellowship without Examination in recognition of his dedication to educating and training generations of surgeons.

RCSEd President, Mr David Tolley said: "Professor Shah has been training surgeons for nearly two decades, and half of the young surgeons in Karachi will vouch for his enthusiasm and style. He has also been involved with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan's (CPSP) examinations for many years."

Commenting on receiving his Fellowship from the College, Professor Shah said: "I am honoured to have been awarded a Fellowship of an institute of such prestige and eminence. I accept this Fellowship with utmost humility and gratitude."
