Letter to NHS employers asking for support for doctors wishing to undertake national work

In January 2012, the four UK Chief Medical Officers, the Medical Director of the NHS in England and the Chairman of the General Medical Council signed a letter to every employer in the NHS. The letter urged these employers to support requests from doctors who wished to undertake national work, including work for the Royal Colleges. The full text of the letter can be found here.
