RCSEd & RSM Edinburgh Interface Symposium

Organised jointly by the Royal Society of Medicine and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Edinburgh Interface Symposium will take place on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 February 2013 at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

This meeting is organised and is aimed at surgeons involved in interface specialty training. 10 CPD credits will be awarded to those who attend (5 per day). The first day will look at specific areas of current interest in head and neck oncological surgery and the second day will have a more cosmetic theme.


Confirmed speakers and sessions include:

  • Professor Steve Thomas - Management challenges in the HPV -ve population
  • Mr Richard Shaw - New approaches to non-HPV cancer of the upper aerodigestive tract
  • Professor Bob Woodwards - Trainee view of the interface H+N training
  • Professor Terry Jones - Larynx cancer - where are we now?
