The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh has announced details of its flagship meeting for 2011.
Surgical Simulation: Possibilities, Problems and Pitfalls with 'Pretending' will be held on Thursday 3rd February 2011 at the College in Edinburgh and is aimed at all surgical trainers and trainees.
Delegates at the event will:
- Benefit from an update on current simulation methods in surgery and other branches of medicine.
- Learn more about other professions/industries dependent on high-risk decision making.
- Improve their knowledge of technologies in virtual reality and simulation.
Experience hands-on practise with a range of simulation devices at the event.
- Participate in discussion about the use of simulation in clinical assessment.
Fellows, Members and affiliates of this College are eligible for discounted rates.

You are invited to submit abstracts (maximum 300 words) for possible presentation at the meeting.
