Dental Council Elections

Following members’ terms running out in October, the Dental Council is announcing a number of vacancies now open to Fellows and Members in Dental Surgery.

Nominations from those wishing to stand must be received by Thursday 23 May 2019.

Member of Dental Council

There are three vacancies for Member of Dental Council, which are open to Fellows in Dental Surgery only, who are in good standing with the College. Those who wish to be nominated should complete the attached proforma for “Member of Dental Council”. The nomination must be supported by two Fellows in Dental Surgery of this College, who are also in good standing.

Members’ Representative of Dental Council

There is one vacancy for Members Representative on Dental Council, which is open to Dental Members of the College only, who are in good standing with the College. Those who wish to be nominated should complete the attached proforma for “Members Representative“. The nomination must be supported by two Dental Fellows/Members of this College.

Trainees’ Representative of Dental Council

There is one vacancy for Trainee Representative on Dental Council, which is open to All UK-based MFDS holders affiliated to the College who hold a National Training Number on a dental specialty training programme, and who also are in good standing with the College.

 

Please note that all Fellows and Members who have been nominated and those supporting the nominations are giving their consent to their names being recorded in the ballot papers.

All Nomination Forms must be signed by all parties named on the form.
