Please can you send the evidence to support your application electronically as email attachments to orthodontics@rcsed.ac.uk - please retain the original hard copies until such time as we request these from you. Please send the evidence in pdf format, profile photos can be sent in jpg format.
For applicants who wish to submit a paper application - please send a copy of your application and supporting documentation as email attachments electronically to orthodontics@rcsed.ac.uk and retain the hard copies until such time as we request these from you.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
FOR CANDIDATES WHO ARE SITTING FOR PART A DIRECTLY PRECEEDING AN ADJACENT PART B CLINICAL DIET AT THE SAME CENTRE, AND WHO ARE ALSO APPLYING FOR THE ASSOCIATED PART B CLINICAL DIET , PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY ARE EXEMPTED FROM THE PART A FEE FOR THAT RELEVANT PART A DIET. WE ASK THAT CANDIDATES PAY THE FEE FOR PART A IN THE FIRST INSTANCE AND THIS WILL BE REFUNDED TO THEM ON RECEIPT OF THEIR PART B APPLICATION AND SUBSEQUENT ATTENDANCE AT THE APPLICABLE PART B DIET.
CANDIDATES IN THIS POSITION WILL BE ADVISED WHEN THEY WILL BE REFUNDED THE PART A FEE ON RECEIPT OF THEIR PART B APPLICATION. WHEN APPLYING FOR PART A, CANDIDATES ARE ASKED TO ADVISE US THAT THEY ARE ALSO SITTING THE APPLICABLE PART B DIET, OR SUBMIT THEIR PART A APPLICATION ALONG WITH THEIR PART B APPLICATION FOR THE APPLICABLE PART B CENTRE, IF THE PART B DIET IS AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION. SHOULD CANDIDATES SUBSEQUENTLY WITHDRAW FROM THE ASSOCIATED PART B DIET, THEY WILL BE LIABLE FOR THE PART A FEE ACCORDINGLY AND WILL RECEIVE NO REFUND.
CANDIDATES SITTING THE PART A AT ANY OTHER CENTRES OR ALTERNATIVE DIETS WOULD NOT BE EXEMPTED, AND WOULD BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THE FEE ACCORDINGLY.

This Examination is conducted in English.
Candidates applying for an examination far in advance of the closing date should be aware that examination fees are subject to change.
In the unlikely event that the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh has to cancel the examination, the examination fee shall be reimbursed, but the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh shall incur no further liability.
Candidates are advised NOT to book travel and accommodation until such time as they have received their individual notice detailing when and where to attend.
