Overview

The Annual Scientific Congress (ASC) is being held by The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Partnership with The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. The event is the largest multi-disciplinary surgical meeting held in Australia and New Zealand and provides RACS Fellows a valuable opportunity to present their experience, wisdom and opinions to their colleagues, in a challenging and truly international forum. The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh will be hosting a hub event, sharing several key plenary and surgical specialty sessions taking place at the congress. The ACS offers participants the opportunity to learn and experience first hand the advances in surgical specialties from experts in their respective fields.

For our RACS Edinburgh hub event, Surgeons' Quarter Travel have an offer on accommodation, with a two night stay including breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks from as little as £250. Learning Style

To learn and understand developments in new surgical advances Opportunity to meet with Colleagues and discuss findings from the days sessions. To appreciate the challenges that have been faced by those in a surgical career and how surgery has and could adapt for the future.

Aims & Objectives

We aim to provide an opportunity to present surgical learnings. We also hope to provide an incredible opportunity to network whilst developing your portfolio and an appreciation of surgery through participation discussion with Peers and Q and A sessions.

The ACS Hub Event will take place in-person, with social distancing and public health regulation in place, in line with government guidelines.
