Overview
The foundation trainees surgical societies have organised a national conference open to all medical students, junior doctors and core trainees aimed at providing an inspirational and informative event for those interested in a future surgical career. The main theme for this year’s conference is trainees today, surgeons tomorrow. The conference aims to explore all the routes through surgical training, including non-traditional paths.
The conference builds on the success of last year’s event, and the foundation trainees surgical society is immensely proud to organise an in person event this year, allowing for great networking opportunities, to meet fellow foundation trainees wishing to pursue surgical careers and hear about surgical training, academic training, and balancing life with a career in surgery.
