May I draw your attention to the GMC consultation on revalidation which began on 1 March. This is an opportunity for individuals to comment on the GMC's extensive proposals.

The College will be responding to this consultation and, if there are particular issues which you would like me to raise on your behalf, please write to me so that we can consider including your concerns in our response.

I emphasise that the consultation process is also open to individuals to respond and I hope that you will take the opportunity of doing so. Your response can be made on-line through the GMC website – www.gmc-uk.org/revalidation.
