Please note that a £75 cancellation charge applies on cancellations made 5 weeks or more before the event. The College also reserves the right to charge the full course fee to delegates who cancel within 5 weeks of the event. In the unlikely event that the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh has to cancel this event, the fee shall be reimbursed, but the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh shall incur no further liability. Therefore we suggest you do not book travel until 4 weeks before the event. Some studies have indicated a small risk of Hepatitis E transmission when working with pig tissue. This risk is minimal if proper precautions are taken, but it is recommended that pregnant women should avoid working directly with any pig material
