The curricula of Higher Specialist Training in Ophthalmology (as agreed by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists) is available at www.rcophth.ac.uk.

Candidates may apply to the Training committee of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists for a CCT certificate following successful completion of Higher Specialist Training and success in the FRCSEd exit exam in Ophthalmology.

From 1st August 2007, ALL UK trainees in specialty training (ST) posts should follow the Royal College of Ophthalmologists curriculum and assessment system. This is available at www.rcophth.ac.uk
