The Members' Area is a growing concept which is undergoing continuous development and which offers members the opportunity to personalize the services which the college has to offer. Essentially it offers a conduit of communication between members and the college allowing members to select and access services which are of specific interest to them.

For example, members will be able to sign up to the exams and courses services, (including all Surgical Specialties, Msc health informatics, Prehospital Care, Sports Medicine etc), and will be able to apply/pay on-line and have access to their results on-line - all within a secure encrypted environment.

In the future, it is hoped to offer many other services which will be of interest to members - one such example being to include access to e-publications, including access via the ATHENS system.

For all those members and fellows of the college in good standing, there is also the Members' Private Area which already offers a number of popular services such as:

• E-mail Redirection
• Website Hosting
• Discussion Boards
• CV Builder

Over the coming months, it is hoped that additional services will be made avilable.
