The College owns a number of single, shared and family flats which are suitable for rental to Doctors attending courses, clinical attachments, examinations or for visiting Edinburgh itself. These flats are situated in Hill Place/ Hill Square, affording easy access to the College and Lister Institute, and lie within 10 minutes walk of Princes Street.

Hill Square is a quiet Georgian Square adjacent to the College and close to the University Complex and Medical School. It is near the historic Old Town and the City Centre and access by public transport to all parts of the city is excellent. A good selection of shops and restaurants catering for all nationalities and requirements is available in the immediate vicinity. The Square itself contains many of the College's activities and offices, including part of the Museum and the Symposium Hall, and is bounded to the North West by Surgeon's Hall designed by the famous Scottish architect William Playfair.
