African Elective Bursaries For RCSEd Affiliates

Ethicon Medical Student Elective Travel Bursaries
The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, in association with Ethicon, is pleased to offer medical students an opportunity to apply for a travel bursary towards their elective in Surgery.
The bursaries, to the value of £250, are open to medical students in the UK and the Republic of Ireland who are affiliates of RCSEd and who are undertaking approved surgical electives overseas.

As a student, foundation doctor or surgical trainee, you have a choice of Royal College with which to affiliate. The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is not just for Scottish people - less than 10% of our membership is in Scotland, with the majority being in England and overseas. Having said that, we're proud of our home and our membership joins us because of our ability to combine prestige and heritage with friendliness and approachability.
