Pan-Surgical Electronic Logbook for the United Kingdom & Ireland
The Pan Surgical Logbook (or ePortfolio) has been developed to support surgeons of all grades and all specialties in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The FHI ePortfolio has been developed in close co-operation with the Specialty Associations to provide a whole of life service to surgeons of whatever specialty. The main features are the ability to build up a complete work record, appraisals, capability to record CPD’s and in the near future the potential to provide reports in support of re-validation and re-certification. The Faculty have developed our own advanced learning management system, which enables not only interactive course material delivery but also an integrated administration system with online grading and assessment, online fee payments and a distributed database-driven support system.
