Practical Skills

Use a self-inflating bag to ventilate an adult

Participate in ECM

Perform the following under supervision;

Insert IV cannulae 

Skin suturing

Think about management plans for the following circumstances;

Initial approach to the sick adult or child

Myocardial Ischaemia

Myocardial Infarction

Acute Breathlessness

Shock

Upper limb fractures

Lower limb fractures

(can be topic for A-Z)

 

Communication

Be present with senior medical staff when breaking bad news to relatives.
