| Welcome to the A-Z of A&E. These topics have been written and submitted by the second year, fourth year, fifth year and elective students who have spent time in the department. Please read through items of interest to you. The format is a brief case history of an interesting patient, followed by a more detailed description of the problem. Please make it your own work; we publish the topics on the web site and we would rather not have a collection of "clip and paste" from other web sites or on line text books. The topics are edited by a member of the A&E medical staff before publication but remain as informative essays. They are not intended to act as a textbook. This site takes no responsibility for others acting upon the content of these essays. Some of the essays have been lost temporarily. Motto always backup your hard drive.
