MAGDS Exam Format

MAGDS tests the candidate’s applied clinical knowledge, clinical judgement and problem solving skills relevant to the practice of General Dental Surgery at an advanced level. The exam is in three parts: a three-hour written paper, and two structured orals covering Diagnosis and Treatment Planning and Clinical Problem Solving (with each oral consisting of eight 15-minute oral stations on eight simulated clinical cases).
